Good Laugh

Time

Well I am come to see something about time, it fly’s. We have lived up here for a little over 6 moths, and what do we have to show for it. Well lets see we have gutted the bath room gutted the living room. And what have I done in putting back what I have torn out. Well I have most of the dry wall up the sink is in the room but still dose not work the sub floor is in and the tub liner is done (after 4 caulk jobs).

Now as much as it sounds like loads of work has been done it dose not seam that way to me. Things are moving slow and some days not at all. There have been a million little things in-between. Like laundry, mowing the lawn, cleaning the ferrets and many more.

Things are looking much better all around. We have a baby that is healthy and well on its way to popping out. We have a house that is starting to take shape.

I do have to say living up here is a little different then when we lived down state. For one I have already had to clime a tree and save baby squirrels, and just to day I had to scoop up baby bunnies. And I will say that baby bunnies are not very bright, they will latterly just set in front of a lawn mower until you run them over. We see deer on a regular bases and turkeys just about any time you drive down the road.

Now all the nature things aside living here has made us a lot closer taking walks and going fishing. And the amount of things to do here that cost nothing just blows my mind.

All in all I don’t think are choose to move is all bad, but we still miss many things like friends, the ability to go shopping at more then Wal mart which buy the way is not to bad up here, but they still suck.

The kid joined soft ball and that has been fun. And she loves it, but driving half hour to get to some of the games seams a little much for little leag, but if she enjoys it I am all for it.

Well that is about all that I have to say, nothing new we will have a busy next few weeks with company coming and visiting. So until I have something interesting to say you are left with my incisive ramblings.

Things are grinding along

Well I don’t have much and that is the reason for the lack of up dates around here. The home projects are going well but taking longer then either of us thought it would. But that is what you get for thinking it would be a little easier then it is.

Took a little brake from remolding around here to rake all the pine needles up in the front yard and low and behold we have grass out there, today me and the little monster went down to the lake for a few hours for some fishing mines the fish.

Well on other news (late news that is)

We came down state for some family things on the Friday 13^th this month and before we left we stopped to get a bite to eat. Now I don’t know how well the scan of the reseat is going to be but pay close attention to the date and cost of the meal for me. The wife and kid had the golden arches.

Forest from the trees

You know it amazes me how you can live some were, for years and never see it change around you. Not until you do one of two things move away from it, or you really take a look at what is around you.

I have only noticed these changes in plaices that I have live after I moved away form them. How the neighborhood looks ran down, or how the whole area around my neighborhood no longer looks the same.

Ok with that all is said, we are planning a little trip down state this week end. And to tell you the truth I don’t want to go. If it was not for friends and the little family left down there I would not go. I have no interest in having my memories of how things were or how they looked to me before we left.

I know just from the houses that I lived in down there from year to year that, in no time can things deter ate quite fast.

Now add to all the bad feelings of not wanting to go, to us over booking are time to try and make up for not having gone down more often. Friends are the ones that seam to be getting the shorter end of the stick each time we go. And for all this I sit here dreading going down to some were I use to live for a lot more years then I would have thought.

Now don’t get me wrong change is needed but I would prefer change in the right direction, and not going down hill. I have nothing can be accomplished with out change, for with out change there is no movement which is worse in the end.

What a hell of a day

Ok so this day went to hell in as much time as it took me to get up. And now on to the good stuff.

Spring is not springing very well

Well lest see it is freezing rain out side as of right now, (talk about some crap) and it is still chilly out side. And do to the weather being this way I have yet to get to the garage and give it a good cleaning, I have been out there here and there to go throw a few boxes or throw some crap out. But still it needs a good cleaning if all the rest of this shit from the house will be moved out there shortly.

Well the wife is doing well, I am very proud of her she has not only got her sugars almost in the perfect rang but she also had one hell of a good a1c test come back the lowest I think it has ever been. She has told me it is not all the hard after you get it started so as always I will keep helping her along the road.

The kid has had her ups and downs she is rolling throw book after book like you would not believe and we are not talking the little ones any more. Chapter books and not short ones. She had done unbelievable in school, the best report card to date lets home that it only gets better from her.

The house has started to take life with renovations, I have neglected my duties around her as of late with dishes and wash but my lovely wife helped me get back on track with them. We have carpeted the kids room and have carpet to go in are room soon we will start with the 3^rd bed room we are putting in. we have a plan and is stating to take shape, we have sat down figured out the best way to go about things and we are going head first in to it.

I still have yet to find employment which is staring to get to me and the wife. I have found little in the way of a job that will hire me during the day, found a few that would take an app for nights but that just don’t work for us right now. I will be going back to wal-mart to see if I can get me one of those blue smocks for me.

Life only comes calling when your plait is full, so never over fill your plait

Ok so let’s see it snowed big surprise it is northern Michigan, 11 inches in all it sure made it look nice out side. Still don’t have a job but I will keep looking and putting apps in were I can. Other then that there is nothing new to speak of we got are taxis done sweet deal all the way around on that one.

Other news I wish we all had a reset button built in to us.

Small goals

We will start off with I have not had the ambition to come here and do a dame thing with the site, just did not matter any more. So on to the goals first write at lest ones a month in this thing no matter what it is. May it be the day I had or some little thing I have done or have not done?

Goal two try and find some one willing to hire me part time for the hours I can work. Been having a lot of problem with distance hours income ratio, but I hope to get something closer to home for the ability to be able to work more hours apposed to the farther I go out from home the less hours I will be able to work.

Goal three this one is well going to be announced some other time.

For one hit wonders,

Ok so many years ago there was a song on the radio if I am not badly mistaken. And that song was called Scooby snacks, now the band is called the Fun Lovin' Criminals. Now I know most of you are going to think they suck or your going to say the fun loving who.



Now don’t get me wrong they were a one hit wonder but that is what I like some times being able to tell a band from the one hit that makes it for them, now I have looked hi and low and found no sign of them. Then to day I was looking around and low and behold what do I find?

Well you guessed it I found the list of cd’s they have made up to 2006. Now I find that funny because the last time I found info on them they were no longer a band so I did not get my hopes up about checking it out. But well it is them and so fare it is the same sound in which I have been looking for.

For this reason I post this one to the one hit wonders.
