now most go out drink and have a good time, then there are some that just stay in with there family.
and then there are some of us that hardly even count this as a holiday at all. it is one of them holidays that has little meaning to me. I under stand the hole celebrate the new years coming, but for a long time now I see nothing good coming of the coming year, more bills more tax and less money.
even now with school stating for me (still having a hard time with that) I see nothing any better then the years past, now don't get me wrong I do see how lucky i am and to healthy kids a great wife a house and all. but to tell you the truth when you have spent so much time trying to run up the never ending escalator it is hard to celebrate another year of running.
(THAT KID IS BACK ON THE ESCALATOR)
well that is my 2 cents on this holiday and for every one out there happy new year, drive safe and live another year.

Movie critic's
did you ever ask you self after you read a review on a movie that you just watched and thought was pretty good, how the hell did the critic think it sucked.
well here is a good little read critic's review
now i have a few theory on this: here is the first that comes to mind they are unimaginative idiots.
ok so it is a movie and it is not real and if it were it would be on fox I am sure with some real life drama crap tacked on to the title.
but do they see this no they say well it was unbelievable, well da it is not spouse to be real.
I think they should spend a little more time on the people writing memores or there life story that is not only not true but impossible but they snap that shit write up in believe.

time tested and approved
I am sure I have said it before but I will say it agin.
are life is never been easy (me and my wife that is)
things never seam to happen at the right times, the most reasond event would have to be the van's front heater going out on are way down state for thanks giving. a 3-4 hour trip in crappy weather with no defrost in the front of the van sounds fun.
there are many of these things, Abby coming at the most inopportune time, 2-3 months with no pay check after getting a second home, and only one income. her car the only reliable one having a bad censer with in that 2-3 months with no income six hundred bucks that we did not have.
many relationships start off strong and then go wrong with things get tough, be it lack of money or lack of job or direction in life.
we have faced all of these and more time and time again, and the only thing that has stayed is us. are love are respect for one another. it is amazing how well we get throw things.
now am sure you are asking how do you do it, that I can not say for sure. don't get me wrong I have my theory, but I think the only thing that is different is every thing we do we do it together.

if you believe in the hole full circle of life thing then we are due to win the lotto any day now.

life moves on for some
due to some real bad ideas and bad deals just bad business all around you have CEO's dropping dead, from there own doing.
the only thing this make me think of is when you were a kid, and well you know you do something you were told not to or you know you should have not done. and you worried about being found out or getting caught after the fact.

One Day After Christmas

It's one day after Christmas
I'm crabby and I'm broke.
I'm so full of ham and fruitcake
I think I'm gonna croak.
It's nice to see the relatives
I wonder when they'll leave.
They've been camping in my bathroom
since early Christmas Eve.
They're eating everything in sight
and sleeping in my bed.
I been sacked out in the basement
with my beagle, Fred.
The relatives have all gone out
and left their screaming brats.
The toilet bowl is all plugged up
and I can't find the cat.
It's Christmastime at my house,
the relatives are here.
They eat me out of house and home.
and drink up all my beer.
I love the decorations,
and the sleigh bells in the snow
But I wish those pesky relatives
would take their kids and go.
Those cookie crunchers fed the dog
a twenty pound rib roast.
His feet are sticking in the air
like skinny old fence posts.
Now they're in a free-for-all,
the girls against the boys.
They're fighting over boxes
'cause they're bored with all their toys
My mother-in-law is snoring
in my favorite TV chair.
Those kids are stringing lights on her
and tinseling her hair
I oughta wake her up

December
Things that you realize about December when living in the snow belt,
shoveling is needed way to much
raking the roof is not as much fun as it looks.
Sunday marked the first day of winter and we already have over a foot and a half of snow here,(what the hell) we have a 5 foot hill in the back from the snow off the roof for the kids to sled on. (not kidding it is up to my shoulder)
it seams to be a tradition now for are thermocouple to go out any were from 10pm to 2am in the morn, after winter starts what is a thermocouple you ask it is the little part that lets are boiler know there is a poilet flam and it is lit, a little peace of copper sits in front of the flame and it runs to the censer. it has gone out every winter now that I think of it, from the time we moved up here.
this year was no different it was about 10 out side and the thermocouple went out. this time it was my uncle that came throw for us he had one that was shorter then needed for a fix, but it did work for a jury rig for the night.
so this year i bought two of the 10 dollar parts one for now and one for when the little bastard besides to go out again. (wich it will not so now that i have a spare)
so all in all things are good just need to keep working to keep every thing at bay.

Box of chocolates any one
Life is like a box of chocolates (that has been left in a car in the desert!)
Well were to start, lets start with the 06 mini van we have had less then a year. The front blower went out right be for are trip down state talk about bad timing, as all of us know that with out a blower in the front of the van you have no way of defogging the windshield and on a 3-4 hour trip that could suck.
Money is short for every one and we no exception to this, it has made things stressful to say the lest. And to think I am going to be starting college (what the hell was I thinking) the state is going to pick up the tab of the schooling but I am sure there will be things that will not be covered.
Went up to the school to turn in some paper work for a pel grant I received (did not think I would get any thing) and tried to register for my classes to find out 2 of them are full, which sucks seeing that with the pre wreck of a hole lot of math to catch up I have to take all of my classes in the order in which was planed out. (should have lessened to the wife and went asap) although I did find out that no worker left behind program looks at 2 years as calendar years so I have one extra semester to add in to help lighten the load a little. So ones again I will have to go throw all the class find out when they are offered and move every thing around to try and get it to work out.(not easy)
The trip down state went well up to the point of getting sick, the wife was throwing up the hole night of Friday and I was very sick all of Friday and most of Saturday. So we cut the trip short and went home not fun driving when you are sick and tired.
We came home and then had to unload the car, not feeling well I just started working with the unload, some times working will take my mind off feeling like crap, but to add to the trouble I took the cell phone and dropped it in the make shift puke bucket that was not used and then put water jugs in with it. For those that can do math I am sure you can figure out what happened after 2 days of sitting in there.
So add in calling the cell company and getting a new phone sent out to us, easier then we thought but now the new phone dose not work. (so we are waiting for corporate to call us back)
And here is the one good bit of news around here are 9 year old daughter has made major changes in school and we have finely gotten to see the results with strait A’s. with only a few things wrong with behavior I am very proud that she has finely starting to make the effort. please check out the post that Peaj has up
Then this morning I wake to Peaj’s email account open, with a email opened from her boss to let every one know the are combining to floors of the hospital in to one. Not cool this is what is happening every were but this also means more people higher on the totem and may mean more time off due to lack of people going to the hospital. So the rest of the tabs that were left open are for job openings for another hospital that is a lot further away, (not something I would care for Peaj to have to do every day).
Well at this point we should be use to this things never seam to go easily for us, it has and am sure will always be a up hill battle.
So here is to the good fight we keep fighting.
